This is my current setup that I am running at this time. I am running a Eagle Tomahawk base with a100 Watt power amp.
This has been enough power
to talk anywhere I want to without causing havoc with my neighbors electronics.
The antenna is an Imax-2000
and from the bottom of the pole to the tip of the antenna is 70 feet in total length. The mass is a 5 section telescoping mass with a total of 15 heavy guy wires to support it. This setup has seen bad storms with no damage.
