My QSL card
This is a QSL card that I designed on the computer. Back years ago, you had a choice of having someone else, like a print house, create a card for you or, if you were like me you would clip out your favorite photo for the background. Mine was the USA map from the phonebook. Then you would have someone type up your text info. I used those small plastic stick-on letters you could buy from K-MART. Finally you would make your way to the print house and have post cards printed. I sent my first QSL via internet to EUROPE a few years ago prior to this website. As I listen, I hear others with the same idea... Instead of weeks/months ( Sometimes never ) You have confirmation in minutes! As the SOLAR CYCLES continue to get active, so will the radio operators and the desire for people to send QSL cards... I believe that we will see the internet play a major part in this as more DX 'ers go on line!!!
